Teamlead Software Engineering - FinTech
As a leading member of the engineering department, you will lead a cross-functional team that is responsible for products that are used by our major clients. You will ensure that the software products are high quality, resilient and are integrated into our DevOps culture. This is an opportunity to apply your technical knowledge and experience to build an effective group of cross-functional experts, develop new business process, shape the development culture and apply cutting edge solutions.
You will make sure that your team is high performing and collaborate with other teams within the company by mentoring and training your team members. You will ensure that a culture of quality and continuous improvement of both technical products and processes exists within your team and you will collaborate with other leads to ensure that the end-to-end functionality of the systems in your domain deliver products that meet the requirements of our customers.
You will improve your skills and knowledge through attending industry relevant events and keeping up to date with new developments. You will ensure that your team is up to date on current best practice and you will raise the company's profile by speaking at technical events and publishing papers.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Experience in leading high-performance development teams in agile environments
- Outstanding university degree or equivalent
- Very good understanding of software development and architecture
- Proven organizational and communication skills in dealing with different levels of the organisation
- Experience as a SCRUM master or Agile Coach is an advantage
- Experience of leading multiple cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English and very good German skills, written and oral
