Required Qualifications: (Evidenced by an attached resume)


Bachelor's Degree.  Three years of full-time, relevant software development experience.  Experience effectively translating functional business requirements into relevant technical specifications.


Preferred Qualifications:


Full-stack software developer experience to include relevant front-end (UI, UX & JavaScript) and back-end (Database and Message Queue).  Experience with a reporting system (e.g. Crystal Reports, Cognos, etc.) Experience developing responsive web applications and using source control.


Brief Description of Duties:


This position is responsible for the software development and ongoing support of highly critical and complex systems for both front-end and back-end desktop, web, mobile and batch applications. This includes all aspects of software development, including requirements analysis, design, coding, building, deploying, testing, debugging, documentation and maintenance. As a developer on our team, you will work on our stack composed of C#, ASP.NET MVC, Solr, relational databases, Bootstrap and AngularJS, with supporting technologies like message queuing, search and indexing, document oriented data stores, crystal reports/reporting systems, etc.


The successful candidate will have relevant technical knowledge demonstrated by an active GitHub or Bitbucket account, contributing to an open-source project as well as strategic and analytical thinking skills with an ability to solve problems and make effective decisions. In addition to outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, it is important that the incumbent have experience successfully working independently as well as part of a team with a collaborative approach to problem solving. Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail are a necessary component to this role.



  • Develop, maintain and support facilities, finance, administrative related applications, support desktop, web, mobile, and batch applications. This includes all aspects of software development. Develop software involving the use of SQL Server database server and Oracle back-end databases. Create and maintain reports.

  • Contribute to improving the organization's development environment, thus assisting other programmers in the development of software. Research of new, useful technologies to improve the development environment and efficiency.

  • Act as a second-level mentor for the organization's student developers with designing and maintaining desktop/web/mobile applications. This includes providing both hands-on and hands-off training to the student developers so that they learn all required skills necessary to complete their development tasks.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Special Notes:


This is a full time appointment.  FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Minimum salary threshold must be met to maintain FLSA exemption. This is an Essential Position.
