Inovva is looking for a developer to join its result-driven team. Each developer plays a key role in delivering new features and improving the performance and stability of our different web application and APIs.
.Net Developers work across all layers of our development stack which includes ASP.NET, MVC 6/API 2, ASP.NET Core and SQL Server 2016. Typically a week will include adding new features, doing code reviews and assisting in the resolution of issues that might be raised by our experienced Customer Service/Operation teams. Developers will be asked to deliver technical documentation and collaborate with our Business Analysts to help conceive the best solution for our clients. They also participate in the evolution of our products by contributing to technical proposals and being part of the planning process.
Requirements
- You have good communication skills. You have to be able to explain a complex issue to both technical and non-technical peers.
- Written and spoken French are a must. You must be able to understand and make yourself understood in English although full proficiency in that language is not required.
- You have been working on web applications for a few years now, know what an API is and have experience building and/or consuming them.
- You understand that making difficult code is simple but making simple code is hard.
- You want to constantly learn new stuff.
Ideally, before joining:
- You have worked with HTML5, Javascript (not just jQuery), and know a bit of CSS3
- You have decent knowledge of SQL; it does not have to be DBA-level but you have at least used Management Studio regularly in the last few months.
- You have experience using git and worked with Pull Requests before.
