CAREER FUNCTION:   SOFTWARE ENGINEERING

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Work on a team to bring new software to market.


• Contribute to the architecture and design of product features and capabilities.


• Participate in Scrum work environment to deliver software to meet requirements.


• Research new tools and technologies for use within the team.


• Assist in the troubleshooting of code defects and deploy timely fixes.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• 5+ years of daily experience using Java


• Experience in multi-threading software that operates in a network environment.


• Extensive experience with Spring Boot, Kafka or other messaging queues, Micro-service or SOA.


• Strong understanding of Relational, Columnstore and NoSQL Databases.


• Exceptional query writing skills a plus,


• Data ingestion, data science, and machine learning experience a plus.


• Experience in network security development (PCAP, Netflow, BRO, etc.) a plus.


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.


• Excellent communication and analytical skills.


• Must be able to qualify for a security clearance.
