WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON
- Matching and search algorithm: the core experience that helps schools discover teacher matches based on a multitude of attributes.
- Data warehousing and analytics: optimize data collection, storage, and analytics to share data back to schools to improve their use of Selected and their own recruiting workflows
- Technical leadership: estimating and architecting scalable, maintainable, and documenting systems, including greenfield projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of professional experience
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript (other scripting languages accepted, but our stack is all JS)
- Experience with MongoDB, or similar NoSQL databases
- Advanced knowledge of NodeJS
- Strong system design and architecture skills
- Bonus points for experience with React & Redux, CSS, and UX problem solving
