SugarCRM is looking for a Senior Information Systems Engineer with a passion to solve complex technical challenges and a passion to contribute to the team’s success as an individual contributor.  This is a role that would provide an excellent team leadership opportunity along with scope to grow your technical skills.

The Senior Information Systems Engineer is a thought leader who is well versed in the technology trends, able to design, code solutions and have a good grasp of business processes. The role is expected to translate business requirements into the conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) and be a hands-on leader to develop applications and solutions.

The role continually monitors the systems performance and user utilization and finds ways to continuously improve systems to bring in efficiency and better user experience. The Senior Information Systems Engineer must be able to manage multiple projects and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.

Impact you will make in the role:


  • Understanding and taking requirements and developing high quality deliverables

  • Ensures to meet the published SLA for trouble resolution and ticket backlog

  • Apply your Project Management expertise while managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Document architecture, technical design and collaborate with enterprise architects to implement scalable, cost-efficient systems with high performance

  • Partner with key strategic CRM solutions partners for small and large-scale engagements to help develop the vision of the technology service

  • Manage the configuration and setup of the CRM-related solutions as needed


Expertise you will bring in:



  • 7+ years of experience in a technical lead role, preferably supporting a Sales or Service organization

  • Minimum of 5 years of development experience on CRM or SaaS applications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in programming & business systems analysis while supporting enterprise applications

  • Strong technical background and application development experience. In depth knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs and building integration with CRM software is a plus

  • Experience with PHP Laravel framework is desired

  • Follow best coding practices, keeping custom code organized, readable, maintainable and documented

  • Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, enterprise application architecture and corresponding standards

  • Strong understanding of basic system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines

  • Should have participated in and be familiar with SDLC and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies

  • Strong, proven Project Management experience is required

  • Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements

  • Hands-on experience with several mid-size global implementations using CRM

  • Willingness to learn how to integrate with and program inside NetSuite

  • Demonstrated domain knowledge of enterprise-wide business and technical processes

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field or a business area discipline (i.e. accounting, investments, or marketing)
