We are scaling the OakNorth Engineering team and need leaders to manage engineers and design the software development process. This position is incredibly high impact and a great opportunity to be a key part of defining the technical team and vision.
As a leader within Software Engineering at OakNorth AI you will recruit engineers into squads who will have co-ownership of the product. You will drive a world class process & engineering culture and help select our toolset and software stack. You will also help coach the entire engineering team on ensuring high quality outcomes whilst increasing velocity.
You will work closely with your peers in other teams to resolve conflicts and ensure the teams are strongly aligned both in deliveries and practise.
You will have very recent hands on engineering experience and have a passion for helping engineers achieve their maximum potential. The role will optionally have a hands on portion where you still contribute code to production.
