StyleSeat is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with 5+ years experience specific to the requirements of this role.

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at StyleSeat, you will be one of the very first members of a fast-growing operations team responsible for a high-scale ,cloud-hosted, service-oriented infrastructure. In this role you will maintain the uptime and health of our critical systems while working alongside the Architect to design and build infrastructure components and operational processes that improve the robustness and scale of our application services.
You will be responsible for:
Root-cause analysis of service/system failures
Automation of infrastructure configuration and service deployments
Adoption of operational best practices for the organization
Discovering and resolving system performance bottlenecks on a live, production system
Establishment and enforcement of software service SLA's
Load-profiling of critical system components and services
Scripting of various operational utilities
Generation and maintenance of operations documentation
Proficiency is required with the following:
Unix shell scripting (e.g. Bash)
Python, Docker, Git
Linux system configuration (e.g. apt, yum, systemd)
Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, RDS, ElastiCache)
Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tooling (e.g. TerraForm, AWS CLI/API)
Network protocols - TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS
Application performance monitoring (e.g New Relic)
Familiarity is desired with the following:
MySQL operations and performance tuning
Container orchestration systems (e.g. AWS ECS/EKS, Kubernetes)
Security best practices and standards (e.g. X.509, PKCS, AWS IAM, AES)
Node.js, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ
