Responsibilities
- Play a key role in building a large scale, highly responsive, resilient and secure system to handle storage of very large datasets, design pipelines, and business metrics to scale with growing trading volumes
- Build disruptive solutions using cutting edge technologies with measurable commercial outcomes
- Develop technical specifications, high level/detailed design, testing strategies, and implementation plans from business requirements
- Manage end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis, coding, testing, UAT and maintenance
- Work in a fast paced environment
Required Skills
- Experience with microservice architecture using Spring framework
- Experience with Java or Scala
- JAVA based OR mapping frameworks such as Hibernate
- Experience with Kafka, Storm is a plus
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher is a plus
- Experience with AWS is a plus
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python
- Experience with continuous integration using GitLab or Jenkins
- Experience with encryption and security a major plus
- Experience in Financial Services or Fintech is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong team player yet simultaneously able to work on independent initiatives
