Function Description :
- The Data Encryption group is chartered to come up with creative products and capabilities to support data protection in various environments.

Purpose of the Role :
- QA engineer of security software including functionality, performance and availability testing
- Participate in the development of automated testing frameworks
- Release Management
Responsibilities :
- Development of QA and performance measurement frameworks in J2EE, .Net, Python
- Innovative and rigorous multiplatform testing, API testing
- REST API SLA monitoring
- Participation in Agile development including daily scrums
- Release management and certification of products developed
- Creation of QA and SLA Dashboards using Prometheus/Grafna
- Technical Documentation
- Work as part of a development team
Qualifications:
A) Critical Factors to Success :
- Skills in automated QA and QA framework development
- Excellent communication skills
- Being able to work independently with minimum supervision
B) Past Experience :
- 3+ years of highly automated QA of API and components
- API SLA monitoring
- Performance measurement and SLA monitoring of components and APIs including stress testing and confidence interval measurements
- Release Management
C) Academic Background :
- BS Computer Science & Engineer or equivalent
D) Functional Skills/Capabilities :
- Familiarity with Data Encryption, Tokenization and related Data Protection techniques is a plus
- A background of development in the Security Domain is ideal, but not a must
E) Technical Skills/Capabilities :
- Java/J2EE development or .Net/ASP.Net or Python
- REST API and web applications development
- Tools including JMeter/Rest Assured/Cucumber/TestNG
- REST Java/JAX-RS or .Net/Webapi based development and api testing
- Complete Familiarity with Software development and build frameworks including Jenkins, Maven, Git/Stash
- CI/CD based deployment environments in a container based environment
- Software versioning and release management
F) Knowledge of Platforms :
- Linux
- Windows
- Docker/Kubernetes/Swarm
- Large Cloud-based environments
G) Behavioral Skills/Capabilities : Working independently with a US-based development group, problem-solving, initiative, QA rigor
