Function Description :
- The Data Encryption group is chartered to come up with creative products and capabilities to support data protection in various environments.
- If you have the talent and desire to Design, Develop and Test innovative products in this space in an agile manner, do join our team
Purpose of the Role :
- Developer of security software including unit and performance testing
- Portals and Web-based UI development
Responsibilities :
- Innovative and rigorous multiplatform component and api development in Java, J2EE, AngularJS / ReactJS, Node.js
- Participation in Agile development teams
- Some REST api development
- Creation of interactive UIs and portals
- Some exposure to RDBMS or NoSQL development
- Work as part of a development team.
Qualifications :
Critical Factors to Success :
- Skills in the agile development of web-based UIs with back end REST Apis or SQL / NoSQL databases
- Excellent communication skills
- Being able to work independently with minimum supervision
Past Experience :
- 3+years of interactive Web-based application development using Java, J2EE, Angular, React, Node.js
- Problem solving an debugging
Academic Background : BS Computer Science & Engineer or equivalent
Functional Skills/Capabilities :
- Familiarity with Data Encryption, Tokenization and related Data Protection techniques is a plus
- A background of development in the Security Domain is ideal, but not a must
Technical Skills/Capabilities :
- Java/J2EE development, Angular/React, Node.js
- REST api and web applications development
- SQL /NoSQL databases
- Complete Familiarity with Software development and build frameworks including Jenkins, Maven, Git/Stash
- CI/CD based deployment environments in a container based environment
- Software versioning and release management
Knowledge of Platforms :
- Linux
- Windows
- Docker/Kubernetes/Swarm
- Large Cloud-based environments
Behavioural Skills/Capabilities : working independently with a US-based development group, problem-solving, initiative, attention to detail
