Job Description

UNDERSTANDING THE ROLE

A Full Stack Developer is responsible for design, development, implementation, testing, integration, release, and support of the entire suite of Tresata software.

As a Full Stack Developer, you will build next generation analytics products that enable our enterprise customers to deliver predictive intelligence across all their data at a petabyte scale. You will work closely with client teams to understand and solve for client needs, both existing and newly imagined.

This role requires you to prepare product deliverables with time-sensitive deadlines in a high intensity environment. Additional requirements are a love of coding, a deep instinct to be a self-starter, and a desire to help build a small, agile team enriching customer lives with data.

Additionally, you will be the eyes and ears to help Tresata understand what product features and functions current clients are looking for, or may not yet realize that they are looking for. You will then help transform these innovations and ideas into actual products and develop them for our clients.

Requirements

ESSENTIALS FOR THE ROLE

• You have earned a bachelors degree in computer engineering, mathematics, physics, or incredible programming/life skills (which makes a bachelors degree irrelevant).
• You are a strong front-end engineer with 4+ years of experience. You learn new frameworks and technologies, write very clean and high quality code, and have worked extensively with open-source products.
• You learn new skills and technologies regularly and easily. We use JavaScript technologies such as Node.JS, jQuery, Angular.JS, React.JS, etc.
• You have
  • proficiency with Javascript and web technologies,
  • hands-on experience with HTML5 and CSS frameworks and browser compatibilities,
  • strong understanding of object-oriented and functional concepts and design patterns,
  • facility with Git, test driven development, continuous integration and build automations (experience with JavaScript build tools like Webpack, Grunt, Gulp), and
  • familiarity with Hadoop, MapReduce, HDFS, Spark and related technologies.
