Systems Engineer at AttackIQ (San Diego, CA)

AttackIQ is looking for an experienced Systems Engineer whose mission is to deeply understand our enterprise customers network environment and the security controls they employ and then finally implement those solutions in our Labs (which could be on the virtual machines or in AWS) so that AttackIQ could be implemented in their environments successfully.

What Youll Do

• Work with Customer Success and Sales Engineers to understand and articulate our customer's network environment and security controls they employ, and help them during the implementation of AttackIQ.

• Work with engineering teams to articulate how best to deploy AttackIQ to test the efficacy of our customer security controls.

• You will implement proxy servers of the like of BlueCoat, Squid etc with different configurations such as explicit or transparent, combined with various authentication methods including basic, NTLM or Kerberos.

• You will implement End-Point security controls such as Carbon Black, End Game etc

• You will implement network security controls such as Palo Alto or Check Point firewalls - including Next Generation modules and feature sets, and IDS/IPS technology.

• You will help automate the implementation of these controls in our labs (which could be on the virtual machines or in AWS).

Requirements

• Prior experience implementing proxy servers of the like of BlueCoat, Squid

• Prior experience implementing networks with custom routing

• Prior experience implementing network security controls like IDS or Palo Alto

• Excellent Linux administration skills

• Excellent BASH scripting skills

• Basic Python skills

• Basic AWS skills

• Nice to have - terraform, Ansible

• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
