Work youll do 

As a Project Delivery Specialist in the Cyber Risk group you will:

 

 Support Implementation and Operations Management best practices while taking ownership of tasks and/or project workstreams and guiding more junior professionals

 Support and/or lead workstreams on engagements related but not limited to Operations & Maintenance, Helpdesk Operations, Software and Application Development and Maintenance, Financial Operations, and Project and Acquisition Management

 Perform analysis and diagnosis of client issues

 Contribute to deliverables and review the work of others for quality and accuracy

 Demonstrate an understanding of the client environment and overall project scope

Qualifications

 

Required:

 Typically has 5 or more years of consulting and/or industry experience

 Ability to work independently

 Ability to manage small engagements or work streams and multiple team members with confidence

 Professional oral and written communication skills

 Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with experience exercising mature judgement

 Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills

 Ability to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role

 Configure, maintain and administer an instance of Puppet
Responsible for architecting, implementing, maintaining and upgrading orchestration and self-service tools.
Establish and maintain IT process automation methodologies, documentation, and resources (ie. script repository).
Design, develop, implement and maintain a cost effective, long-term IT automation strategy and roadmap promoting reusable components, low maintenance costs, high efficiency and scalability.
Expert knowledge of the Linux Kernel and hands-on experience with various Linux distribution: Red Hat 4, 5, 6, 7
Strong knowledge of virtualization technology: VMware
Possess in-depth working knowledge of Linux file systems and storage architecture
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, HTML, HTTP, SSL, SSH, SFTP, DNS, Apache, Tomcat, and LDAP
Understanding of database and web application concept and architecture: Oracle, MSQL, and WebLogic
Familiarity with database connection methodologies: ODBC and JDBC
Understanding of system and storage design appropriate to support Oracle database and WebLogic application server
Strong understanding of Linux security principles, defense in-depth, firewalls, IPS/IDS, identity management, authentication, and encryption
Possess in-depth working knowledge of Linux patch management and related information security functions
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning tools Nessus plus
Application/server load balancing and content delivery concept and technology preferred

 

Preferred:

 Prior professional services or federal consulting experience

 Bachelors Degree
