Full Stack Software Engineer at YPrime (Raleigh, NC)

YPrimes Product Development team is looking for a Full Stack Engineer help us build and support innovative software that fuels clinical trials. Youll be based in our Raleigh, NC office.  At YPrime, we help our clients in the pharma and biotech industries to collect data from patients using mobile devices, assign patients to study treatment groups and dispense clinical trial drugs and supplies using web apps. Were supporting life-altering research, one project at a time.

• A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• At least 3 years of hands on experience working in an Agile environment designing and delivering scalable solutions.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (RESTful Web Services).
• Experience in software development, integration, and delivery practices using DevOps.
  
• At least 3 years of experience with unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, etc.)

Have these things too? Even better!

• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based solutions, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Behavior-driven development (BDD)
• Experience with Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Experience with Open Source tools such as Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, and Linux Shell Scripting
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases
• Prior experience in the clinical trials space, specifically in IRT, eCOA or EDC a plus

• Youll work on all facets of the software development life-cycle, from customer facing web and mobile applications using cutting edge technologies, to highly-available RESTful services, to back-end .NET Systems.
• Youll work with emerging and traditional technologies such as NODE.JS, Angular, .NET Core, Python, REST, HTML/HTML5, CSS, relational databases, NOSQL databases, Protractor, Jasmine, Karma, Cucumber, Docker, Chef, Terraform, IOS, Android, Cloud Infrastructure, Etc.
• Youll design solutions, write code, test code, and automate testing and deployment
• Youll work closely with product owners, architects, designers, and stakeholders to understand desired functionality and test scenarios
• Youll work within and across Agile teams to design, develop, test, deliver, and support technical solutions.
• Youll bring a passion to stay on top of new technology trends.
• Youll experiment with and learn new technologies
• Youll mentor other members of the engineering team.
• Youll develop complex applications using Angular, Node.JS, .NET Core, GIT, RESTful APIs, and MVVM architecture.
• Youll monitor system performance trends and identify potential issues.
• Youll continuously improve software engineering practices.
