Seeking a dynamic Software Sales Specialist, Docushare  in the Greater Toronto, Ontario Area.


Our field-based Software Sales Specialists are experienced business development professionals who are equally adept at delivering new revenue and evangelizing to channel partners to drive sales results through others. Our product portfolio includes enterprise content management solutions, specifically on-premise and cloud software licensing and professional services, including DocuShare®.


Exceptional performance in this role is defined by:

  • Achieving revenue, profit, and margin goals by driving new business through two avenues: our direct selling resources and channel partners. After mastering the Xerox® Docushare® value proposition, youll be managing a two to six month sales cycle by qualifying opportunities, cold calling, networking, demonstrating our product portfolio, and selling in to current accounts.
  • Driving a culture change from hardware to software sales within our subsidiaries by establishing credibility with VPs of Sales in your region, developing and maintaining strong partnerships with all go to market units, and getting results through others this requires a high degree of evangelizing and relationship building, including developing a regular cadence of face-to-face visits and trainings.
  • Working collaboratively to rapidly grow the business.  Youll work closely with an expanded sales team of business development directors, software engineers and solution consultants. Together, youll respond to RFPs, develop pricing proposals, communicate and understand total cost of ownership, identify industry trends, and maintain records in our CRM.


Qualifications that will help you be successful in this role include:

  • 3+ years of achieving or exceeding quota in field-based software sales
  • A track record of driving sales revenue through direct and indirect channel models - this is a true hunter/business development role that is dependent upon your ability to build solid relationships in your region
  • The flexibility and willingness to learn and ramp quickly with robust training and mentoring, including the ability to respond, adapt, and pivot based on changing priorities
  • A strong understanding of technology, including cloud content management, workflow, document capture, process automation, networking or storage solutions
  • The ability to travel regionally 50% or more  face-to-face training and mentoring are critical to establishing credibility and maintaining strong partnerships
  • And of course, exceptional presentation skills and executive presenceare a must


While these arent requirements, these preferred qualifications can help you ramp up faster:

  • Sales experience in the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) or Software as a Service (SaaS) spaces preferred, experience or familiarity with DocuShare® or Docushare® Flex a big plus
  • Bachelors degree preferred
