Salesforce Consultant: Community Specialist at GearsCRM (Dallas, TX)

GearsCRM is searching for a sharp, motivated Salesforce expert to join our team as a Senior Consultant - Communities Specialist. In this role, youll collaborate with clients to analyze business requirements, implement solutions that leverage Salesforce Communities and manage projects. Youll partner with our industry leading team of Solutions Architects, Developers and Technical Architects to solve complex problems and deliver top notch Community implementations and enhancements to your clients. These Community projects may be in conjunction with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, B2B Commerce Cloud.


This position will primarily be a work from home position. Due to the need for some onsite visits, the candidate needs to be located in the United States.


Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Configuration and Design of Partner & Customer Communities. This would leverage the Lightning Community Builder, Lightning Components standard and custom, and also Visualforce and other tools where needed.
  • Facilitate business process reviews to identify client requirements and processes.
  • Translating the Customers requirements and using best practices, crafting a solution with Salesforce that will support their processes, without unneeded custom development
  • Configure Salesforce Community solutions leveraging Lightning.
  • Develop technical requirements for internal developers as needed.
  • Effectively manage all aspects of projects and client communications.
  • Deliver end user training and documentation.


Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce administration Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities / Portals and Force.com. 3+ years of Salesforce administration managing an advanced Salesforce instance is required. Exposure to multiple Salesforce instances is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with Salesforce Communities is a must. Experience leveraging both the Visualforce / tabs and Lightning Template approaches is preferred.
  • Operational experience in how a community is used for Partners and / or Customers, is required. Candidate must have an understanding of how users leverage Communities in multiple use cases: Self Service, Public Discussion / Collaboration, and Partner. Experience being a Community Manager is a plus. 
  • Communities Consultant, Sales Consultant or Service Consultant certification a bonus and previous consulting experience is a plus.
  • Experience with web design is a plus. Past projects involving wireframes and website design a bonus.
  • Experience managing a Salesforce instance required. Exposure to multiple Salesforce instances preferred.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce administration required.
  • Refined ability to understand and assess how business processes can be improved using Salesforce.
  • Excellent problem solving and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to document requirements for technical resources, and ability to understand technical solutions leveraging Apex, VisualForce and Web Services.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to successfully juggle multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines at once.
