Overview
Brivo is looking for a highly creative, passionate, and skilled Senior Software Engineer to design and develop Xamarin Android and iOS applications and MBaaS solutions that interact with other third party services and internal RESTful APIs. Accountabilities:
- Spend 80-90% of your time writing code and designing solutions
- Work with architects and other team leads to support the company’s mission through architectural and technical improvement
- Participate in code reviews
- Work with product owners to deliver new features to production
- Along with your team, take ownership of the applications you work on
- Work with Agile team to complete code reviews, sprint planning, and backlog grooming
- Build and enhance iOS and Android mobile apps
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement of development and quality strategies
- Foster DevOps culture and product ownership amongst team
Skills and Requirements:
- 3+ years mobile development experience on iOS and/or Android
- Shipped and supported a production mobile application in the Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store
- Familiarity with Apple Human Interface Guidelines and/or Android Material Design Guidelines
Experience with the following:
- REST API and mobile-optimized development with NodeJS
- Integrating with RESTful API backends
- Strong foundation with C#, NodeJS, .NET, Xamarin platform, Firebase platform (including push-notification services) a plus
- Writing mobile Xamarin UI tests a plus
- Mobile background services and Android and iOS widgets a plus
