High level summary of the role:

Agile Portfolio Analyst provides our organization the ability to review business-approved projects into a formalized process flow to drive engineering delivery activities from Development to Launch. The requests need to be assessed and sized so that the appropriate teams and resources can be assigned. This position requires a combination of process ownership and project portfolio management skills, as well as detailed management and tactical execution and tracking of project deliverables. Success in this role will result from facilitating project meetings, create and maintain project timelines, and manage day-to-day communication and overall needs of multiple stakeholders . Maintaining a balance between strategic alignment and strong tracking of deliverables, meeting facilitation, as well as stakeholder engagement and satisfaction. He/She will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and be accountable for creating the overall engineering portfolio timeline and overseeing dependencies as it relates to the timeline.
The AgilePortfolio Analyst must closely collaborate with the the managers and directors who lead our delivery teams, shepherd development and hold their teams accountable for managing sprint workloads.

A day in the life of the AgilePortfolio Analyst,Your contribution to the team includes but is not limited to:


Strategy
Ability to understand an organization vision, architecture, design, and integration to manage the plan, dependencies, risks/issues, and relationships with customers to drive ROI/value
Ensures ongoing development of project and portfolio and develop best practices, and status reporting standards available for use throughout the XM.
Building and nurturing effective relationships across multiple internal and external teams to lead and Influence necessary change
Preparing executive level reports to monitor project portfolio performance and align project portfolio to the agile release train
Leveraging your superior communication skills to tailor a message to various audiences and mediums to effectively keep everyone informed

Execution
Preparing weekly Reporting on planning status, scope, timelines, milestones, resources, dependencies, risks/issues (Delivery Execution & Reporting) status, delivery, SLAs/Metrics
Collaborating with Intake managers and directors and team to ensure scope,timeline, risks and issues are monitored and controlled throughout each project and portfolio
Identifying and communicate a project's critical path, escalating variances and expected delivery dates for the desired capability to Technology stakeholders.
Responding to time sensitive Technical Program asks
Coordinating with directors & other leaders to ensure timely updates are provided and incorporated into organization-wide communications.
JIRA Porfolio management

Process Improvement
Driving continuous process improvement: Management and continuous improvement of project intake, assessment, prioritization and approval.
Own the Implementation and adoption for applicable engineering process improvements
Creating and encouraging the use of tools, documentation templates and artifacts that create value for the organization.

JOB QUALIFICATION:Well-qualified candidates will possess the following
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
Technical acumen required to understand the company's products, markets, and applications.
3+ years working in a project management, assessing maturity, creating roadmaps and performance metrics
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred
3 years or more experience with agile software development processes.
Experience working with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
Experience in governing Agile/DevOps and waterfall project lifecycles.
Seeks data and fact-based decision making.
