We need an experienced and result driven Scrum Master with a passion for innovative technical products. You will coordinate, empower and coach Clay’s software development team that together builds and expands APIs used by hundreds of thousands of people all over the world. Help Clay disrupt the world of access control even more by implementing your suggestions for improvement on Sprints and the work of the development team and make a big impact from day 1.


What you'll do 


With an international team of 15 (and counting!) talented developers it comes to no surprise we are in need of someone that has the communicative skills to guide the team effortlessly through the Sprints. You will be the cement holding the Bricks together by coordinating, and sharing your business and end-user insights and innovative ideas. You’ll have an impact in making Clay’s products even better by working closely with the Team Lead, the Development Team and the Product Owner enabling flawless Sprints.


On a daily basis you’ll coordinate the Sprint activities, organize the Scrum ceremonies, and make sure each and every Sprint feels like smooth sailing. 


Technical skills and expertise 



  • Experience in the Scrum Master role for a software development team familiar with Scrum principles, practices, and theory

  • Excellent communication, organizing and mentoring skills 

  • Experience in building a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, with an emphasis on healing and problem solving, facilitating discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution and lead by example

  • Ability to assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization and coaching the team to higher levels of maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization 

  • Proactive and result oriented: You are able to foresee any type of issues in advance and act upon them resulting in a smooth Sprint

  • Ability to set and consult on Sprints KPIs and proactively provide suggestions for improvement

  • Capability of smoothly running and organising Scrum ceremonies

  • Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency

  • Supporting and educating the Product Owner(s), especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog establishing product specifications and advise on the right operations to achieve those

  • Applicable knowledge of the technologies used by the team 

  • Needless to say, fluent in English!
