As a Technical Owner for Zalando Premium Logistics in Berlin, you will own the overarching architectural design and execution of our latest scalable platform for same-day, last mile delivery in multiple locations across Europe. By building products that transform the way we do business every day, we delight our customers and make their Zalando experience as exciting as possible.
WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE IS NEEDED
- Create a robust and end-to-end partner-facing platform which enables seamless same-day and next day evening deliveries and allows for automated supplier as well as partner onboarding, routing optimization and automated reporting as required by partners and suppliers in multiple locations across Europe
- Lead a team of software engineers and product specialists to fulfill the 4D product lifecycle and to implement user-friendly, customer centric solutions
- Drive the strategic vision of the product while balancing existing and anticipated technological complexity
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Significant leadership experience, you have led cross-functional teams in a global e-commerce or logistics company in tech
- A solid background in software engineering with a strong understanding of core priorities, KPI’s and underlying system architecture
- Effective communication skills in English, ability to understand and translate business and user requirements across teams and senior leadership
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or related fields
