What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work alongside a team of technical folks, vendors, and management on an Omni-Channel Application, working towards a shared goal – driving CIBC’s NextGen Contact Centre strategy and accelerating an Agile Transformation journey. As a Omni Channel Application Specialist, you’ll be responsible for assisting in the implementation and optimization of digital contact centre channels and provide technical expertise for OMNI Channel projects/initiatives related to technical design, development, integration, implementation and support. You will help develop strategies, implement and configure systems, and work across internal groups as well as CIBC’s Omni-Channel software provider.
How You’ll Succeed
- Omni-Channel Application SME – Lead Omni-Channel, click-to-chat, application design, development, configuration, and implementation across multiple platforms. Review and analyze the application and perform testing and debugging on the application. Assist with architecture, training, documentation, and optimization consulting. Build and prototype solutions to support the needs of the business alongside the vendor.
- Operational Support – Lead problem management in the resolution of medium to highly complex production problems defining actions to eliminate recurrence. Work closely with the business and cross-functional partners (internal and vendor) to support the execution of implementation plans for application and maintenance updates. Analyze, define and document requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware and operating system environment, interface with other systems, internal and external checks, controls, and outputs.
- Project Support – Provide estimates for assigned work packages to support the development of time tables and project plans; analyze and estimate feasibility, cost, time, and compatibility with hardware and other programs. Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved.
Who You Are
- You can demonstrate experience in digital UI/UX design and development (ideally 2-3 years) including experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML. You have experience overseeing the work of a third-party vendor and ensuring SLAs are met.
- It’s an asset if you have experience with JSON, RESTful web services, Microservices, Kubernetes, Jenkins, JIRA/Confluence, and other build/deploy tools.
