This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated software professional to join our Engineering team. As Scrum Master, you will lead process execution resulting in high quality specification, construction, and delivery of Forward Financing applications. You will report to the VP of Engineering and collaborate frequently with Product Owners, Developers, the Automation/DevOps team, QA, UX, and Architecture.

As Scrum Master, your role in improving the efficiency of our product development team will be critical in driving our mission forward.
In this role you will:
- Engage with PM, UX, and Engineering at the story level to
- Facilitate clear understanding and good design by collaborating on descriptions and acceptance criteria
- Maintain checklists of hard/unexpected/easily forgotten questions and ask them
- Shorten grooming cycles, minimize context switching, and reduce communications overhead
- Be Scrum Master for three teams, lead combined team ceremonies, and act as Scrum Of Scrums leader
- Own the three definitions of done ("DoDs"): Story Ready For Work, Story DoD, Scrum Process DoD
- With Automation, QA and Salesforce specify and oversee a Scrumban process
- Document and track anything that might impact quality delivery, including:
- Testing
- Release delivery and rollout
- Root causes driving exception conditions
- Process quality, etc.
- Aggregate metrics from Product Owners, Team Leads, and automated systems weekly and by sprint

Requirements:
- 7+ years as a leader in commercial web software development teams and product operations
- Strong understanding of agile principles, especially Scrum and Kanban, and experience putting into practice
- Experience and comfort organizing widely distributed teams
- Strong understanding of web languages, frameworks and tools. Preferably React/Redux, ES6, HTML5, CSS, RoR, Elixir/Phoenix etc. Ability to discuss development details with engineers.
- Experience overseeing UX designers/developers
- Strong understanding of Product Management practices and experience working with engineers and product owners to create high quality stories
- Strong understanding of linear project management. Ability to integrate linear projects with agile product development.
