QA Engineer - Associate
Mobile technology is a
fast paced and expanding platform within J.P. Morgan and were looking to
extend and diversify the skillset of our team to enhance the portfolio of apps
and frameworks we provide.
You
will be part of a successful team of passionate technologists who create
cutting edge applications used around the world. Our success is down to our
ability to collaborate and share knowledge across the team. This collaboration
is fostered through initiatives such as: Developer Tech Talks, Swap-Shops and
Ship-It days where you get to work on what you think is important. Furthermore,
we support our developers by encouraging them to attend technical conferences
and meet any specific training needs.
Key responsibilities:
·Test planning for Android/iOS mobile applications and services.
·Designing, creating and executing manual test suites.
·Performing exploratory testing to supplement regression testing.
·Collaborating closely with developers in agile teams to ensure delivery of
high quality applications.
·Rapid feedback of test results and escalation of issues to the rest of the
team.
·Executing automation tests and contributing to improvement of its quality
and coverage.
·Continuous learning through pairing with team members, courses and self
study.
Interested? This is what you will
have:
·BSc/MSc in Computer Science or equivalent level of technical background.
·Previous experience testing web / mobile applications / services.
·High attention to detail, knack for finding defects and passion for
software quality
·Logging and prioritising defects through to resolution.
Desirable
Skills/Experience:
·Familiarity with any programming language.
·Experience using defect tracking systems such as Jira.
·Knowledge of Load/Performance testing tools, techniques.
·Financial Industry Experience.
·ISTQB certification.
