Lead Engineer: DevOps / SecOps
Join our fast-growing software company as the lead engineer focused on devops and security. Report directly to the CTO and collaborate with our team of 15+ web and mobile engineers and product managers. You’ll:
- Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2, RDS, and DynamoDB
- Build and maintain custom deployment and monitoring software
- Implement data privacy and data protection policies companywide
- Perform vulnerability assessments and network scans
- Add encryption and security enhancements to software and databases used by thousands of customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- 2 years of professional work experience, including at least 1 year in devops and 1 year in secops
- At least one security-related industry certification
- Thorough knowledge of AWS console, command line and API
- Python
- Git
- Linux command line
- Comfortable leading meetings and working with executive management
