Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in information technology and software security engineering and development in Python and Powershell
Core understanding of the Java language
Able to work well with virtual, globally dispersed teams
Detailed technical knowledge of techniques, standards and state-of-the art capabilities for authentication and authorization, cryptography, security vulnerabilities and remediation/mitigation strategies
Understanding of software design patterns and how to apply them to build maintainable code
Experience with TDD (Test Driven Development); excellent knowledge of unit tests, mock interfaces required
Experienced in designing and using relational databases and document oriented databases
Experience with Git/bitbucket
Experience with Agile development process
Working experience with cryptographic solutions (including authentication, encryption, hashing, tokenization & signing) across applications, backup, database, endpoint device, email, file, network, removable media and storage domains.
Strong knowledge of data security, encryption, PKI, Splunk, monitoring, access control, and incident management tools, browser and application keystores, OpenSSL
Strong knowledge of web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services and Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
Knowledgeable in technology infrastructure stacks a plus; including: Windows and Linux operating systems, network (TCP/IP), storage, virtualization, DNS/DHCP, LDAP, naming and location services
Hands on experience/working knowledge with Unix/Linux, Wintel, Storage Technologies and Database administration functions and tools, including database encryption methods, solutions.
Experience with Vormetric Data Security Manager, Gemalto Luna, KeySecure a plus
PKI experience including hands on experience with Certificate Authority Administration, Certificate Enrollment Web Service & Revocation servers configuration, Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS) monitoring a plus
Working experience with Splunk SIEM tool is a plus.
Capacity Monitoring and Optimization experience
Professional Security Certification (e.g. CISSP) desired but not required
