Are you an audit and compliance expert? If so, you might be right for our Application Compliance Engineer position. This positions focus is on the design and delivery of audit controls and processes within the Apple Pay team. This is a highly technical, hands-on role that requires experience and expertise managing controls in complex environments. Also needed is experience with and working knowledge of a variety of modern audit, development, and operations tools in an enterprise environment.
 

Key Qualifications:
Deep understanding of audit control creation and testing processes
Experience with regulatory compliance controls in PCI, SOX, GDPR, and mobile payment laws and regulations
Able to audit controls at the technical level (access systems, pull samples, ensuring completeness) and able to automate the testing of controls
Experience with object-oriented languages, such as Java and Python
Deep understanding of technical application and security architectures
Able to manage complex projects
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to work independently
Knowledge and understanding of security and compliance systems and deep understanding of security principles and technical architectures
Significant experience working with large auditing firms
Hands-on technology operations in large enterprise environments

Description:
You will drive the implementation and testing of appropriate controls and audit requirements with internal and external business units. You should be strongly motivated to learn new technologies. Your ownership of the audit process will have you working hand-in-hand with engineering, infrastructure, compliance, and privacy teams to ensure the proper and ongoing compliance of Apple Pay applications.

You will:

Work with application engineering, infrastructure, and corporate compliance teams to design and implement proper controls to ensure compliance with various regulations and company policies

Pull sample data and test controls to ensure their effectiveness

Identify and help remediate control gaps and deficiencies

Work with external audit teams to perform full audits

Partner with external teams to gain acceptance of compliance-driven projects

Foster a strong security and compliance culture throughout the team

CISSP or CISA, or similar, is a plus

Experience in mobile payments and online banking is a plus
 

Education:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or 7+ years of equivalent experience
