Front End Developer at Federal Hill Consulting (Springfield, VA)

Federal Hill Consulting is looking for a mid-senior level Front End/Full Stack Developer.

Due to the nature of the work and its application, US citizenship is required.

Duties Include:

Coding is done using Javascript Frameworks such as Angular JS, Vue.js, Quasar and Python on the Back End.
Collaborate in the development of websites and applications
Hand-code optimized and standards compliant websites
Create cross browser/platform compatible sites
Assist in code reviews and developing database-driven applications as well as improving current client applications
Assess existing sites/systems for code quality and interactive appeal
Evangelize for best practices for front-end development
Create accessible dynamic interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Required Technologies:

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience or Master's Degree and 2 years of experience
2-5 years of experience building professional applications with different web technologies
Solid portfolio showing at least 2–3 small to medium level projects
2 or more years of Python with Django or Flask Frameworks
Experience with MongoDB, Postgres and/or MySQL Databases
Experience building RESTful APIs preferred
Experience working in Agile Environments
Experience with basic Linux administration and Networking concepts
Some experience in Unit Testing
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines on a tight schedule
Plus, but not required experience with client-side JavaScript MVC frameworks (e.g. React, AngularJS, AngularJS, Quasar, Vue.js)
Plus, but not required ElasticSearch, Celery, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ
