The Sales Solution Team is a cross-functional team of highly experienced individuals with deep competences in cutting-edge media technologies, cloud technologies, software development, quality assurance, and product management within the ProSiebenSat1 Applications GmbH. We master evolutionary design, development, and operation of APP’s Sales pipeline including CRM, Ad-Sales, Fulfillment, Billing and analytics.
Our Tech Stack
- Our application landscape is composed of a mix of internally developed services, 3rd party software, and SaaS components.
- We are developing in Java (Spring-Boot), Scala/Spark building containerized microservices that run on AWS and K8s as well as client components using web such as Angular
- Our tech stack enables new business ideas and short time-to-market in a very dynamic environment using gitlab-ci, Kafka, Artifactory or K8s
- Cloud, a DevOps-mindset, lightweight processes, and KPI-driven optimization are enablers for us to achieve that
What you can expect in this role
- You build, maintain and constantly improve our CI pipeline and its tools to enable us to constantly deliver high-quality features
- You find a place for all component tests to run on and orchestrate environments for integration tests
- You engineer applications that utilize the power and flexibility of the cloud
- You make technology decisions and where necessary you conduct Proof-of-Concept evaluations to support your decisions
- You monitor quality of the features delivered and ensure that the team has the necessary tools to automate as many of their tasks as possible (Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery)
- You follow market trends and analyze new technologies and approaches for improving engineering quality and code sustainability
Your essential experience and education
- You have a university degree in computer science, information technology, media engineering, or equivalent
- You love writing code from the bottom of your heart and you believe in clean code as one of the means for sustainable development of applications
- You have professional working experience in software development using Java and have a proven track record for delivering high quality code
- Ideally you have experience developing for cloud execution platforms.
- You possess very good English skills. German is a plus
