Application Architect at Hays (Saint Petersburg, FL)

Hays Specialist Recruitment is working in partnership with Jabil to manage the recruitment of this position.

In this role you will be embedded in a scrum team and responsible for one of our primary applications. You will gain an understanding of the domain, the core value proposition of the application, and build a roadmap for its transformation in compliance with the overall technical direction of the entire program. Hands-on in the codebase as well as capable of thinking at a higher-level systems perspective. Also responsible for working with the development teams, working with the tech leads to evaluate skills, and ensuring the teams are on-board and capable of executing the technical vision for the application.

Application Architect Skill Requirements:

1. 6+ years of development experience with Microsoft technologies.
2. Hands on Architecture experience and able to be a hands on develop/coder and leading technical teams..
3. Messaged based experience is required. Working with the team building Applications that are messaged based (Azure ServiceBus, IBM MQ, etc.).
4. Azure cloud application development experience
5. Agile Methodology.

Preferred:
1) Docker or Docker for windows - containers and container orchestration platforms
2) GitHub account and an active history of contributing code
3) Polyglot
