The Oxford Club, an Agora company, has a new and exciting opportunity for a Web Developer. The Web Developer will work directly with the Web Director and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality projects across all departments. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in JavaScript (ideally React Native), HTML, CSS and some testing background (ex. Selenium).

Responsibilities
- Develop native apps with React (or similar) that will enhance current products and expand their overall reach.
- Must be able to create FinTech products by using charting libraries and other financial data.
- Create fast, responsive web pages using HTML/CSS/JS by translating provided design mockups.
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing portfolio of websites with front-end and back-end support.
- Identify areas of concern with web properties and provide solutions.
- Perform quality assurance tests and ascertain the cause of a problem when a test is not performing as expected or adversely affecting other reporting.
- Ability to work on tight deadlines and in a high-paced work environment.
- Ability to take and apply direction and constructive feedback.
Qualifications
- Min 5 Years of Web Development Experience.
- Experience with cloud-based development - AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid understanding of HTML, Javascript, and CSS; experience or familiarity with jQuery and Bootstrap.
- Experience with React Native is a major plus.
- Experience in Selenium or other Testing software.
- Solid understanding of PHP.
- Experience working in a LAMP environment.
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, CouchDB, Dynamo DB, Redis).
- Experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks such as Selenium.
- Experience with building, deploying, and updating web content in WordPress or similar CMS.
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics/Webmaster Tools is a plus.
- Ability to be highly adaptable and quickly gain expertise in a new technology.
- Version control experience/an understanding of Git.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills .
- Leverages positive and negative feedback from others to improve process and implementation.
- Expertise on JIRA, Confluence is a plus.
- Ability to function in an agile/scrum environment.
- Knowledge of publishing industry is a plus.
- Strong project planning and process improvement skills.
- Extremely well organized with project information, attention to detail, and exacting quality standards.
- Decision making/Critical thinking and problem solving.
- Adaptability.
