The SceneKit Team is looking for software engineers to develop SceneKit as part of game technologies at Apple. The team is developing gaming foundations for all iOS and OSX based products. Responsibilities span low-level graphics frameworks, implementing APIs such as SpriteKit, SceneKit, Model IO and Gameplay Kit, and creating innovate game development tools to let developers take their apps to the next level. Our technology enables the advanced graphics seen in today's top games and other apps running on iPhone, iPad and the Mac. As part of the SceneKit team, you will work with internal Apple teams that take advantage of SceneKit and push its limits towards new use cases.

Key Qualifications:
Programming in C/C++ and Objective-C is a must.
Good solid knowledge of OpenGL, Metal and 3D and 2D rendering techniques.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work accordingly.
Experience developing complete unit tests is a plus.
Experience with user-interface programming
Experience authoring developer facing software, either tools or libraries

Description:
The SceneKit team is now seeking a top-notch, driven, and dedicated engineer to work on game technologies. This group is responsible for building the game development tools and frameworks provided to developers in Xcode and the iOS SDK. Building these tools requires collaborating with multiple groups including Xcode, iOS and Apples Interactive Media Group. The successful candidate for this role should be team-oriented with excellent communication skills, comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and possessing good testing and programming skills. Familiarity with and interest in game technologies as well as content creation tools is a must.

Education:
BS in computer science or equivalent
