Captivation Software is looking for an energetic senior software engineer who is capable of solving challenging problems in a fast-paced environment.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
- Designing, implementing, and using RESTful web services
- Implementing modern and responsive web user interfaces
- Integration across technologies and applications
- Testing and verifying code for accuracy and robustness
All candidates must be U.S. Citizens, and must possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Bachelors degree in technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering)
- Experience in back end systems development (e.g. Java, Scala, Ruby on Rails)
- Experience with JavaScript Frameworks and build tools (e.g. Angular, Vue.js, React, Node.js, Webpack)
- Experience in RESTful web services
- Experience with the agile software lifecycle.
- Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting
Preferred Requirements:
- Masters degree in technical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics)
- Relevant certificates (e.g. Java, Cloud, AWS)
- Experience in cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure)
- Experience in distributed databases, NoSQL databases, full text-search engines (e.g. Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Solr)
