Senior IT Manager at Blockstream (Mountain View, CA)

As an IT Manager, you will lead a small team of System Administrators and you will be responsible for all aspects of IT support, system administration, corporate services management, and everything else to ensure smooth systems operation.

Requirements:



  • 5+ years of IT Management experience

  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing a small team

  • Expert knowledge of Linux and extensive hands-on Linux administration experience

  • Site / facilities administration experience

  • Strong understanding of privacy and security practices and implications, knowledge of encryption tools (i.e. PGP), etc.

  • Extensive experience with a variety of corporate services (i.e. chat, video communication and conferencing, websites, mobile apps, etc.)

  • Strong engineering background

  • Strong soft-skills


Pluses:



  • Security background is a strong plus

  • Startup experience is highly desirable

  • Windows Administration experience
