Fanxchange provides a live event ticketing platform for both the B2B and B2C verticals. We provide our users and our partner's (major loyalty programs, financial institutions, distribution partners and e-commerce marketplaces) access to tickets for every major sports, concert and theatre event in North America. Millions of tickets are handled through our system daily and growing each day.

Your Role
We are looking for someone to join our team and contribute their ideas, experience, and development expertise to build fast, scalable applications. As a software developer, you will be responsible to work collaboratively to develop and deploy fantastic software. Your role will require you to be mindful of the overall system architecture, security, performance, and scalability. The ideal candidate is self-directed, confident in their abilities, and comfortable proposing new ideas and solutions.
Skills & Qualifications
- 2 or more years developing micro-services and back-end applications
- Degree in Computer Science / Engineering (or equivalent work experience)
- Proficient with server-side language and platform such as Python
- Experienced building REST-based micro-services
- Understanding of asynchronous request handling
- Comfortable working with Git
- Comfortable working in a Unix environment
Nice To Haves
- Full stack development experience, including front-end experience with a modern Single-Page Application framework such as AngularJS, React or VueJS
- A background developing e-commerce platforms
- Knowledge of the Python Django framework
