Responsibilities:
- Test software programs to compare to specifications and documentation
- Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in software program functions, outputs, online screens, and content
- Create test cases and test data
- Respond to inquiries from users and technical support regarding functions and operations of software programs
- Recommend program improvements or revisions to application developers
- Document, track, and communicate test plans, test results, analysis, and unresolved problems
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 year of experience in software QA
- The ideal candidate will have experience with both automated and manual testing
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Comfortable with unix/linux command line
- Able to query databases
- Driven to work with product owners to solidify requirements
- Experience writing test plans and test cases
