Senior Test Engineer, reports directly to Director, Application Development
Key area of responsibility will be for building up and supporting our integration/end to end testing. Additionally you will provide support and guidance to the automation framework, working with Director on advancing our automation forward and mentoring other test engineers.
Automation Support/Team Support:
•Team questions (think a solution architect, but for automation…answering questions and guidance to delivery teams)
•Framework updates (latest upgrades to Selenium drivers, web drivers) as well as best practice implementations into the framework
•Jenkins support/setup (dashboards for viewing results, scheduling tests, configuring email alerts, etc.)
•Teaching others automation
•Helping to onboard new folks into automation
•Assisting in technical interviews
Integration:
•Creating end to end tests for ABM/PBM
•Creating end to end data to run tests
•Running/monitoring end to end tests
•Monitoring teams integration tests (teams will have scheduled tests running in INT, provides monitoring and next steps to teams if they break)
Innovation:
•Selenium Grid, working to get our tests to execute in parallel, still outstanding task to be done
•Protractor/Karma for Angular, research item around framework and best practices to support Angular UI’s in Future State
•Tools, we get requests to automate inefficiencies in the company
•Staying on top of latest trends with automation and working POC’s towards these
