QA Analyst H/F at Back Market (Paris, France)

YOUR MISSION


As the first member of the QA team, you'll help develop and scale Back Market in all countries. Based in our Paris office, you’ll work closely with our dev team, customer care, business development and marketing teams, a group of passionate professionals who are dedicated to make sure our products and the Back Market brand stand out.


Reporting to our Head of Product, your duties will include:



  • Take complete ownership of our testing strategy by building it with our front and backend developers.

  • Be responsible of our deliverable quality, from conception to release by defining a complete and structured testing process.

  • Evangelize and implement TDD and BDD practices, facilitate the integration of testing tools in development phase. 

  • Responsible for testing procedure in every sprint: estimation, definition of prerequisites, prioritization and planning of the entire test set. 

  • Write our QA documentations and test cases in strong collaboration with the dev team. 

  • Execute and review of the entire test plan during our sprints to ensure that every feature can go live in production. 

  • Initiate our automated end-to-end strategy and coordinate its application with the dev team. 

  • Communicate on a regular basis reports of testing coverage.

  • Conduct QA researches to identify potential opportunities and best practices for Back Market to explore (tools, process etc.).


THIS JOB IS FOR YOU IF : 



  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably for an international and fast-growing eCommerce business.

  • A strong background in documentation writing (test plans, acceptance criteria etc.) and functional manual testing in an agile environment.

  • Entrepreneurial mind is key, you are open-minded, and always eager to exceed expectations 

  • English is a no brainer

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for ensuring excellent team relationships and agencies where relevant to ensure we get the best out of everyone we work with.

  • A professional, pro-active and ‘can do’ attitude with logic and critical thinking
