RESPONSIBILIES
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and collaboratively implement a target solution
- Contribute to design discussions
- Design innovative technical solutions and estimate the work required
- Use and promote eXtreme Programming practices within an agile methodology
- Use a continuous delivery mindset to ensure a frictionless path to production
- Ensure solutions are testable and write automated unit, integration and E2E tests
- Lead by example in all areas of software development
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of development experience using C#.NET
- Extensive experience in SOA solutions and development of 3rd party integrations
- Extensive knowledge of software design patterns and best practices in software development
- Experience working across the full stack is a bonus, preferably with exposure to React.js and/or Vue.js
- Experience in C#.net 4.6, WebAPI, EF6 and MSSQL.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Excellent experience of continuous delivery practices such as CI, automated testing (ideally specflow) and continuous deployment
- Excellent knowledge of common web and application architectures and development methodologies including Agile.
- Experience working on highly transactional and high performing websites
- Experience working with AWS (ideally) or Azure is desirable
- Experience in a financial services or advice technology is desirable
