As a member of our growing team in the Dayton-Cincinnati Metro area, the Mobile Developer will develop customer facing mobile solutions. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of professional experience. Proven business development, communication, collaboration, and analytical capabilities are required.
Requirements:
• Program 50 - 80% of the day
• Intermediate programming knowledge in:
• Kotlin
• Java
• Android Studio
• Work with the design and UX teams to develop custom mobile solution for our clients
• Understand end-user requirements and translate them into an effective technical solution
• Develop, create, document, and modify projects in various computer programs
• Integrate backend services to ensure we are delivering a great mobile user experience
• Improve code quality through automation and performing code reviews
• Knowledge in Git or in a different source control with willingness to learn Git
• Think innovatively and contribute to overall product strategy
• Communicate with and implement directions given from clients about business requirements, priorities, procedures, questions, etc. into product and code
• Stay current on development technologies and make best practice recommendations for coding standards and solution choices
• Operate with laptops, keyboards, mice, mobile devices, and tablets
Nice to have:
• Agile development knowledge
• Knowledge in other mobile platforms is also desired:
• Swift
• Objective C
• XCode
• Previous experience building an application from start to finish
Job Specifications:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience is required
• 2+ years previous work experience as an Android mobile developer is desired
• Limited travel may be required for this position
