AGODA: Senior Business Process Business Engineer - Bangkok

Overview:

As a Senior Business Process engineer you will have responsibility for end to end business and data flows within the Agoda Booking, Payment and Finance platforms. Supporting cross functional product and engineering teams, you will design, document and effectively communicate system flows to a range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This role will drive business process management across the Agoda booking and post-booking business and requires ownership and detailed understanding of existing business processes. The successful candidate will support technology and product teams with the goal of optimising business, technology and financial performance.

What you will do:

• Map and understand existing work-flows in a complex business domain
• Communicate effectively to business and technical stakeholders
• Identify process or technology gaps and articulate business case for process improvements
• Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
• Establish a framework for measuring and monitoring process performance inc. KPIs, controls, dashboards and alerting
• Support product and technology teams to develop new features and flows

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business / technical degree.
• More than 5 years of experience in business process management, management consulting or process engineering
• Experience in working with multiple cross functional agile engineering teams
• Experience in delivering business change in a fast paced technology company
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience of writing production code in at least one modern programming language (e.g. Scala/Java/C#/Python)
• Exceptional attention to detail
• An engineering background is a plus
