We are seeking a Java Software Engineer / IBM Middleware Developer to become an integral part of the LJSA retail consulting team! You will be responsible for creating and modifying custom software and specialized utility programs for the benefit of a retail client.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and design/develop software solutions
- Work with customer project manager to meet specification needs
- Work with IBM ODM to help customize and manage decision making rules
- Document all programming tasks and procedures
- Perform routine software maintenance
Skills & Requirements
- 5+ years previous experience in software development, computer engineering, or other related fields
- Experience with IBM ODM (Operational Decision Manager)
- Strong knowledge and experience with Java and other programming languages
- Experience with various IBM Middleware products is a plus
- Experience with Micro-services and RESTful web services is a plus
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
