Your Responsibilities
- Define test strategies, create and execute test cases and document test artifacts to ensure thorough testing of product components and overall product quality.
- Work closely with DevOps and Software Engineers to implement and continuously improve automated tests and incorporate them into our continuous delivery pipeline.
- Develop and manage test infrastructure, including example datasets and regression test suites.
- Create reproducible test reports, defect tracking, and other documentation that supports the quality standards of our software.
- Drive continuous improvement of testing and development practices to make the team more efficient, deliver higher quality products, and ship on time.
- Work closely with product managers to understand product requirements and to create corresponding test plans, quality standards, and strategies for the project.
- Anticipate current and future issues and develop plans and actions to minimize the negative impact.
- Ensure that processes needed for the Quality System are established, implemented and maintained.
- Review and suggest improvements to product documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency during iterations and at release time.
Who we are looking for
- Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
- 5+ years in software testing and quality assurance related positions.
- Proven experience in creating, executing and reviewing results of functional, integration, and regression testing.
- Experience with testing API’s, microservices, web services, and product integrations.
- Proven experience in agile testing methodologies including Behavior Driven Development.
- You should be familiar with Linux and scripting languages, in particular Python. Other languages like C/C++ are a plus.
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance system development and implementation such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. Ideally also knowledge of software process and capability models, concretely Automotive SPICE and the software development guidelines MISRA C.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- “Can do” and above all “want to do” attitude.
- Motivated fast learner and problem solver who can work in a team as well as independently.
