What will you own?
- Establish best practices for testing methods and technologies across heterogeneous scrum teams.
- Recommend and implement testing tools, Automation SDKs, and utilities for scrum teams.
- Ensure the quality of internal and external systems.
- Track, review and approve the coverage of testing in existing systems and services (test plan, unit tests, system tests, integration tests, end-to-end tests).
- Facilitate and support the development of E2E tests running in multiple environments (CI, QA, Alpha, Production)
- Interaction with development teams.
What do you need for success?
Mandatory
- 2-3 years of Java and NodeJS proven experience
- Testing directly against http-based restful web services and indirectly by using UI automation.
- Continuous Integration and Pipeline Definition using Jenkins / TeamCity.
- Understanding the tools of the trade, for instance Selenium, Selenium Grid, Appium, and Mocha.
Bonus
- Containers and management platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- JUnit or an equivalent testing framework.
- Working with large micro-services oriented systems.
- Working in a global organization with geographically distributed R&D locations.
- Understanding of agile development methodology (Scrum).
