The goal of the RUM agent is to let developers obtain information about the end user experience of their applications. The agent is a JavaScript library that is injected into the application JavaScript code and runs in the user browser. The application is automatically instrumented in order to measure the end user experience through metrics. It traces initial page load times, regular resources, XHR/fetch requests and other relevant events.

  • Handle pull requests and issues from the open source community.

What you will bring

  • 8+ years of experience with JavaScript in-depth experience

  • Previous demonstrable APM experience is required.

  • Knowledge of browser and JavaScript engines inner workings, needed to be able to build a frontend APM agent.

  • Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, Ember, etc).

  • Ability to work independently in a globally distributed team

Additional Information

  • Competitive pay and benefits

  • Option to work 100% remote or from any office

  • Stock options

  • An environment in which you can balance great work with a great life

  • Passionate people building phenomenal products

  • Your age is only a number. It doesn't matter if you're just out of college or your children are; we need you for what you can do.
