To pursue our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (m/f). In this position, you will be responsible for continuing to build out a first-class, innovative team embodying the Site Reliability Engineering philosophy and methodology.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Work closely with software engineers and other SREs in dedicated engineering groups to influence and create monitoring, alerting and tracing platforms
- Write code so that you can automate repetitive manual tasks by building systems that can execute those tasks in an automatic fashion
- Help reduce technical debt and migrate off the legacy stack
- Be on-call for the services you build and support
You come with:
- Operational expertise around managing components like RDBMS and NoSQL databases, experience in at least one scripting language a good knowledge of Linux, networking, etc.
- Experience in operating highly available distributed systems in a cloud environment like AWS is a plus
- A good understanding of the observability landscape
- A thrill for troubleshooting faulty and misbehaving systems
- A passion for automation, building automatic systems and solving large complex infrastructure problems
- A proactive, goal-oriented, reliable and self-structured way of working
- Fluency in English
