You can find our signature pink bikes in 20+ countries, enabling our customers to order their favourite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We’re connecting foodies and restaurants from Helsinki to Sydney and together with our riders' energy and our amazing partner restaurants, we're redefining delivery food to include the very best meals from beloved local restaurants.
We are currently looking to hire a Senior iOS Engineer (m/f) for our Berlin HQ!
Responsibilities:
- Together with our Global Product team in Berlin you will develop and design mobile applications - mainly for iPhone and iPad.
- As an iOS developer, you will be in charge for the development and design of - primarily - iPhone, iPad applications
- The implementation, optimization and maintenance of the apps also belongs to your duties
- Thus, you will enable the mobile app to send and receive data from our shop system
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate possesses knowledge of Objective-C, Cocoa, Xcode and iOS SDK
- A few of your great apps are available in app stores
- You are experienced with SQL, HTML and versioning tools (preferably Git) and have practical knowledge of Webservices, XML and Json
- We require knowledge of design patterns and algorithms
- A passion for elegant designs and experience with Android or Windows Phone is a strong plus
- We also consider experience with programming in PHP on Linux to be beneficial
- Your educational background is the following: you have a University degree in the field of computer sciences, business informatics or comparable and a structured thinking and quick learning ability
- Moreover, you are fluent in English
