The System Applications team is looking for a highly motivated, junior engineer to join our QA team. Our group is responsible for testing iCloud login, Two-Factor Authentication, Family Sharing, iCloud storage management and other features across iOS, macOS, tvOS, watchOS and HomePod.

Our team practices dynamic, fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between engineering and QA. We're looking for organized, critical thinkers with a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, a passion for quality, a strong point of view on product design and user experience, and a critical eye for detail, matched with an ability to see the big-picture. Engineers on the team are expected to own overall quality for multiple cross-functional components, actively participate in feature design discussions, plan and execute testing, and write automated tests.

Key Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of iOS and macOS
Experience working through and testing Enterprise and consumer workflows
Ability to setup and maintain MS Exchange Servers and knowledge of Office 365
Strong programming skills with C or C++ and experience developing test tools in Python or JavaScript
Extensive understanding of networking, problem isolation, documenting test plans or test matrices, and SQA testing methodologies
Experience with user interface software components and demonstrated knowledge of user-facing issues
Ability to work collaboratively in a highly cross-functional environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Description:
Your primary focus in this role will be writing and maintaining user focused automation as well as performing both documented and ad-hoc testing of changes made by System Applications Software Engineers. Additional responsibilities include validating bug fixes and performing standard regression testing by defining and validating new feature functional acceptance criteria to ensure only high quality submissions to the build. You will be expected to be a strong advocate for both functional quality and a polished user experience throughout the product development process.

Education:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
