Senior Backend Developer (Scala/Java) - Team Travel
The idealo Travel Team is working currently on new projects to increase their market position. Therefore we are looking for Developers who like to think outside of the box, who have no fear of trying something new and who enjoy working in a diverse Team.

About your new role
- You design and develop backend systems for the idealo travel websites
- You deal with a wide range of 3rd party API’s
- You take care of the system’s long term resilience and scalability
- You work with modern technologies like Kubernetes, Akka, Kafka etc.
Skills & Requirements
- You have at least three years of experience as a backend software developer
- You have profound knowledge of DDD in order to design and build backend systems
- The application of SOLID principles are self-evident to you
- you have bulletproof experience in developing and running JVM based applications
- Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment are part of your everyday working life (you build it - you run it)
