About the role
We are looking for a front end coding guru who will be an SME for all things related to Front End Development. You'll be working across multiple products and platforms, and across a variety of technologies including both React and Angular. This is a far reaching role which has a huge amount of impact within our business.
To be successful in this role you'll need to be passionate about front end, both whats current and whats coming in the future. We want you to be enthusiastic about working with the latest tech and advising us on best practice and how we need to move forward.
About you
- Demonstrate strong knowledge in:
- Angular AND React
- HTML, CSS
- JavaScript including ES6
- Unit testing in JavaScript
- Cross-browser capabilities
- A strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
- Demonstrate working knowledge of:
- Working with Git for source control management
- js and front-end build tools
- Grunt - JavaScript task runner
- Gulp – JavaScript task runner
- CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Zurb Foundation
- Have an appreciation for:
- User experience principles
- User interface design
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with various business units
- Solid experience using Agile Methodologies
